-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 On the ProjeX list I recently spoke of Ogg Speex and TeamSpeak. There are some other open source audioconferencing tools here:
* Robust Audio Tool (no speex support though), works with multicast <index.html> http://www-mice.cs.ucl.ac.uk/multimedia/software/rat/ * GnomeMeeting + OpenMCU server (speaks H.323 and Speex, Netmeeting can use Speex as well: http://www.republika.pl/roed/speexw/) http://www.gnomemeeting.org/i http://www.openh323.org/code.html http://xmeeting.sourceforge.net/ If you don't mind proprietary and like something easy: I found out that Skype now (since february!) supports conferencing features - although with a max of 5 participants. Skype supports Linux and Windows as well as pocketpc - no MacOS yet. With PocketSkype you can use the skypenetwork within range of a 802.11 wifi or gsm network and a wifi capable or gsm pocketpc/wm2003 pda. There is also Zmeeting if you use linux on a pda: http://zsi2.stonekeep.com/index.php?v=d&a=696 if you want to connect to H.323 audio/video conferences.
