Hi Guys,

I am not the smartest kructacean in the ocean but creating ISO
images should not be so difficult - right?

m m m . . .

Well under Windows I have tried and always end up with a non-booting
(and hence useless CD) but I am writing this from a single self
booting CD version of Mandrake Linux (9.2 version - think it is)
called Mandrake Move.

This is similar to Knoppix - a CD you boot up into Linux with . . .

How did I achieve this?

1. I downloaded the ISO image from the Mandrake Site in WIndows
2. Booted into Knoppix
3. Found the ISO image (my Windows HD was accessible)
4. Right clicked on it and it gave me the option to burn

I roasted and toasted that CD

One cup of tea later and I booted from an ISO image

Hurrah! Penguin power.

Now it is back into XP to ensure that accessing XP from Linux has
not fried my data - I hear you laff - ah well ...

I iso chuffed . . .

I have more images to burn . . .
(as the Pope said to the Idolotars)

:-)
