added this right after your poem ...
just the first 4 lines ...
i did figure out how to do the indent
it just takes putting a ">" at the beginning of the line ...
but i can't get it to not double space.
the break command <br> doesn't do it.

here is what i added:

What love endures
>we can put up with
Some people say that only
>a dead fish goes with the flow

and you can see the indent works.

go ahead and edit this out ...
just left it there for you to look at.

now ...
when you go to *edit this page* ...
scroll to the bottom and click on the 
small text that says "wiki punctuation help"

this will show you the punctuation available for use. 

no single space that i can see!!! ;(

i thought i had figured out how to do this
in the wiki books ...
and they are very similar.
will see if i can find where i did it.

in the mean ...
people can experiment with html commands ...
some may work ...
some not.
as joyce said ...
i think things such as <center> do ...
so it will take some experimenting.

i hope we get it as i do like to see
your work in it's intended format ...
