How is it where people are today? It is cold here, but blue skies, and so i'm going on a long walk with the camera. HolyGeeks are invited to come along on the walk with me. At the mid point is a Chinese-Japanese restaurant with the best hot & sour soup - so for people who join, soup is on me. I think i owe ts a recipe for that. Perhaps they will tell me how they make it there - much better than my own version.

it is cold here and dark
a soup time
One of my favourite spices
is pepper
For years I would get pilau rice with these wonderful
round
flavoursome balls - even when I was told
it was pepper I thought it was some
exotic chilli pepper
component
It was whole pepper
Now add some leaks or onion
- maybe some
milk
a little leftover potato
and water (do not forget water
- I have known people burn
soup)
and one of the best things to thicken soup?
a little oatmeal
in fact flavoured gruel (thin porridge)
is an excellent soup
oatmeal and onion and a little miso
Now we are cooking
I had great fun on the wiki this weekend
I think we are doing real
good
Yosy turned up too
ts was all over the place
