When Allen Ginsberg, Gary Snyder & Michael McClure initiated the Human Be-in/A gathering of the Tribes in SF in 1967, the people that attended were physically in a crowd & marijuana was being passed around freely with intervals of music between the blocks of words. Here each person will mostly be physically alone & only electronicly in touch with anyone else. There is a challenge to that. Also the sound doesn't work on many people's machines & we can only pass them words not a joint. Steve
