Hello Know Mystery,
>Orca is from the same family as dolphins? Did not know >that. Me neither. I saw a wonderful documentary (may in part explain beaching) about how orcas gave their cubs a 2 year training in snatching seals from the shoreline Very skilled and dangerous hunting tactic Talking of training - check out these guys - send in the nuns I say http://www.abc.net.au/foreign/content/2004/s1199164.htm >> more tea details >> http://peace.wikicities.com/index.php/Tmxxine > > >mmmm nutmeg, cinnamon, cardomon, cloves... lions and >tigers and bears, oh my i can smell it from here with >my mind's nose > >thanks for the secret recipe. I used to think masala tea bags were a good idea but when I enquired no one had heard of them If enough people ask for something (a demand) it appears (supply and demand) I will complete the recipe in time - but keep it loose it makes great tea - suddenly realised it is ready for sharing ( I have some on the simmer) Once the tea part is cooked add it to an equal amount of milk (I also leave out the sugar and add it at this point) >yesterday for lunch i had a salad that had nasturtiums >and fresh blueberries and grapes and things... made it >feel like summer. right now i am drinking lemonade and >pretending it is august... well, somewhere it is >august or at least summer Over Christmas there was so much magick that I visualised the snow quite happily >> good to see Joyces experiments with animation and >> swf are bearing fruit >> (fun ha?) you even created a clock (hacking existing >> recipes is OK) > >did i hack an existing recipe? i did not know that... >i used the freeware flash creating program Advanced >Effects Maker and the clock applet was one they >provide. An existing clock recipe was included. The word hack (in fact you were just using a program) is what you do when playing with hardware and software - reconfiguring - this is a harmless thing Non geeks regard hacking as cracking. Cracking - virus writing and malware construction removing copy protection etc is quite often anti social. However the present CEO of Apple was a cracker - or phone freaker. And Steve Jobs is a Sanyassin, creator of Next, Ipod and so on. Bill Gates is responsible for turning the computerised world into a reality. MS-DOS was a hack of another OS that he bought and adapted Here is what someone said about tmxxine today: "Its a hoax, a joke, its all fake and he's trying to rope us in with it. He peddles this crap across the net, hoping some hapless moron latches on and believes the bs he spouts. Wikipedia has deleted it from their site because its a hoax. So its locked, and any other threads about Tmxxine will recieve the same fate." ~ Raptorjedi LOL (that is on the Linoleum programming forum incidentally) It reminds me of a response I once got in a guest book from an early web site (about esoteric satanism) The first entry told of how evil the web site was and how they were ashamed they ever visited. I wrote to them and they visited again and said they welcomed my patience and would try and understand and read. The third entry (a few months later) had nothing but praise for 'This wonderful web site' :-) Never trust the opinions of those that have them (including yourself ) >i am wondering if it is smart enough to use the local >time from people's computers or does it use the >timezone in effect when i created it? uses local time :-) >for some reason PowerBullet Presenter stopped working >properly on this computer and so i have started using >Flash, but an older version (5.0). It is fun but not >as easy going as my slow learning style needs. Was it >Swish you mentioned before? Who makes that? Powerbullet uses active X and you have (rightly so) probably disabled active x (a scripting language used mainly by MS) (Active-X is normally disabled by security type progs - not sure which ones off hand) Yes Swish is quite cheap but is split into several products now . . . search for flash swish in google >Has anyone been able to see the comet yet? Binoc? >Telescope? I have not seen it from here. No not yet Lob ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Give hope to a child.
