Hi holygeek, I installed and got working a 5 1/4" disk drive on my new computer which I am thinking of calling Tux Duron Duron
or perhaps Cecil http://peace.wikicities.com/index.php/Cecil Installed MS DOS 4 and am thinking of putting Windows 1 on it (this came free with Pagemaker) At the moment I have Mepis Linux on the new hard drive (based on an easy to install on hard drive version of Knoppix) - which is Debian based. I still feel that Puppy Linux (for various reasons) should be the offiical Tmxxine Linux (for now) I have tried 2 versions of Red Hat (one Fedora) - a live CD version of Mandrake (Mandrake is based on Red Hat) and many others Are we going towards Linux:? (and you will learn a lot in doing so) I have only USEFULLY used Knoppix and Puppy and I find the Live CD's the most versatile and flexible - the most useful thing I have done is web browsing practically everything else is better and faster on Windows What has been others experience?
