Several years ago, in a moment of incomprehensibleness
I gave my eighteen-year-old musical granddaughter my
beautiful Alex 103. I've almost regretted that ever since.
For anyone Interested her photo appears at

Now faulty of memory and regrettably much wiser, I am
wondering whether to buy myself another 103 to replace it.

I see that many great orchestral players use the 103, but few
if any use my own faithful Paxman 25M which serves me well
and plays fewer and fewer wrong notes as the months pass
   and it gets more experienced.

Could the Experts please advise me as to why the 103 is so
popular and in such great demand? What are its good points?
Is it still in present production? If not, what model has replaced it?
What is the makers web address?
