Upcoming Events: Sunday November 1st, Delaware Horn Day
March 12-14 Northeast Horn Workshop 2010
Hello All,
Just a quick announcement primarily of interest to those in the Mid-Atlantic
region that we will be hosting a Horn Day at the University of Delaware on
Sunday, November 1 from 9 until about 4:30. The event will feature our guest
artist Michelle Reed Baker of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, who will be
giving a master class at 12:30 and participating in a brief concert near the
end of the day. Dave Weiner of Brass Arts Unlimited will be on hand for a
maintenance/repair seminar, and there will also be ensemble readings, and a
college audition/application dos and don'ts seminar or interest to anyone
applying to a college music program. A light lunch will be served.
Delaware Horn Day is FREE to attend, but I would appreciate it if participants
could register in advance on my studio website, which also contains more
information, a schedule of events and a registration form. You'll find the

Detroit Symphony and the Horn Section of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Website
