Yes, the three piston valve single F was the 2D, the three rotary valve single F was the 4D, the three rotary, piston thumb valve (Schmidt) model was the 6D, the 10D was a single Bb with A valve, and the 11D was a "school model" single Bb with Ab (yes, Ab) valve. After 1936, I believe, the 6D (Stagliano model) was introduced and is the same as the current 6D, the 4D was a single F which was supplied with an Eb slide and could be ordered with a Dd slide at no extra cost. Stop valve could be added as well. No mention of whether or not these could be ordered with piston valves. There was also the 10D, single Bb with stop valve. The 8D was introduced in 1938. I'm not sure what year the 28D came about (this was covered at some point on the list and may be located in the archives). I also know that the three-piston valve 4D (the later designation) was made into the 1950s.
