I put off trying propranolol for years and years. Finally I asked my doctor and she gave me a prescription. For me it has made all the difference. My playing in performance is now as good as my playing in my basement. Which is not to say it's perfect. But as good as I can do. Which a WHOLE LOT better than used to be my experience in performance.
