Hi Friends---as it is now serious "thinking about college time" for many high school seniors out there , I just wanted to let any horn teachers know that Cornish College of the Arts, in Seattle WA USA, is a very cool place for any young hornist that is into jazz and new music, chamber music, and composition. A horn student could study with both me and Mark Robbins of the Seattle Symphony. There are latin & Brazilian music ensembles, jazz groups, great theory and composition and jazz faculty, a gamelan, and Cornish students can play in the Seattle Youth Orchestra as well.
