Perfect, it is a pitty, that so many baton swinging, grimassing, grounting & farting asses dare to make their show in from of orchestras - and get very well paid. Thielemann gets 800.000.-EUR/year from Munich City alone (equals 1,1 mill. USD), Mehta got 3,5 Mill EUR/year but paid just 22% tax, as not staying longer than 180 days/year so to get this tax benefit.
We had a very good satiric program by the most prominent but very strong political cabaret in Munich, transmissed live. I remember that one of the actors made a proposal to return to the antique lottery system of old Greece 2500 years ago, when all govt. figures were chosen by lottery. This would not change the situation now either, as probably idiots would be chosen as now by voting, but the difference would be, that we would not make ourselves guilty by voting for idiots/gangsters/liers/corruptionists or that like.
