I have been meaning to ask a couple of questions of the list but have been
procrastinating, so here goes.
I have received good information from Wes Hatch concerning the Holton Opus One
horns that they made in the late 1980's. I believe they were an attempt to
compete with the Yamaha Custom/Professional 800 series horns. Does anyone have
one of these horns? If so, which model, what do you think of it, etc. I am
looking to just satisfy my curiosity as to a horn line that seemed promising
but seems to have gone pretty straight to oblivion. You can contact me

Also, somewhat related, does anyone know what person/title someone would write
to at any of the manufacturers if one wanted to express specific ideas
concerning their horn designs? [e.g who would one contact at Yamaha,
Conn-Selmer, etc.] Thanks for any and all help, and an early Happy Holiday
