These Viennese Bass Horns were built at our standard length but of tenor
horn or baritone horn bore. JUst have to call the archivist in Austria to
give me the bore of my former Cizek Bass Horn, which became restaurated
by my late friend Hermann Ganter, as the instrument (bell) suffered some bombing
damage in Vienna during WW2.

The Basso Tuba in F is not longer than our F horn, but can be played down to
concert sub-contra Bb using the valves. I reached to concert contra D sometimes,
but nut useable.
