They are built by Vlastimil Jiracek who himself is passionate and obsessive about anything French horns. (www.jiracek.eu). I have two of his horns and recently ordered a third one ordered while i was at his workshop. I have took the liberty to list his natural horns models for you. Model 110, “Bohemia", is a copy of an old historical instrument, which was found in the Kutna Hora monastery, and represents a typical instrument played in Bohemia, late18th and early 19th century. The instrument is made by using the original technology, which is bending separate components while filled with led, and also keeps its original design and look, with respect to modern requirements for perfect sound and intonation. The bell diameter is 290 mm. Model 510 has the same look and design as the model 110 except, it is made with a smaller bell (copy after Franz Weckert), and the sound of this instrument is closer to a French type of horn. The bell diameter is 280 mm (11.024“) - different is possible. Crooks:C-alto, Bb, A, G, F, E, Eb, D, C basso, Bb basso adapter supplement for C- basso Model 511 has the same look and design as the model 110 except, it is made with a smaller bell (copy after Franz Weckert) and bore 11mm. The sound of this instrument is closer to a French type of horn. The bell diameter is 280 mm (11.024“) - different is possible. Crooks:C-alto, Bb, A, G, F, E, Eb, D, C basso, Bb basso adapter supplement for C- basso Do contact him directly for more information, he speak english competently. It even has a category specifically for natural horns: http://www.hornsociety.org/en/network/marketplace Dan ==================== Dan Phillips Associate Professor Rudi E.
