Here's a paragraph from http://frenchhornrebellion.com/biog/ which explains
the title of the band:

Initially forced to take up the French horn at 8 years old, Robert developed
an affinity for the instrument when he discovered that it was actually
awesome. He went on to earn a degree in French horn performance at
Northwestern University (in Evanston, IL) and became an associate member of
the Chicago civic orchestra. However, as his classical career progressed, so
did his dissatisfaction with it; awesome though it is, The French Horn
cannot do everything. And Robert wanted to do everything.

So someone out there must know Robert Perlick.

Dang it! I did it again -- posted a message w/o the intended link. Let me
try it again. Sorry folks. And thanks to David J. for pointing it out the
omission.

What happened was I was surfing the web for horn related topics when Bing
brought up "French Horn Rebellion." I naturally thought it had something to
do with horns. The search results are... well.... surprizing.
