True story, many years ago, never mind how many exactly, I completed my degree at a "Two Bit Cow College in Texas." A bunch of us were commissioned into the US Army. One classmate was from a small town in far west Texas.
He was assigned to a unit in Bavarian. After initial training he and his new bride took up residence at his new duty station. After about six months there and with a brand new BMW motorcycle in his parking spot, he talked his wife into a trip to Florence. (Remember this is a young couple from very rural Texas). Years later he admitted to those who had gone to school with him, that on that trip they never could fund the "Florence exit" On Dec 28, 2010, at 12:13 PM, Dan Phillips <[email protected]> wrote: > > On Dec 28, 2010, at 11:56 AM, Hans Pizka wrote: > >> Firenze not Firenza. >> ####################################################### > > Oops, Firenza is (was) a car.
