Hello friends: I used to support my horn on the leg. I have tried many times to play off the leg with not success. I always felt that my sound change very much. After I got a Hornstick I could play off he leg, got the same sensation of supporting the instrument on my leg, and the sound did not change. Also the projection off the sound improved. The Hornstick is a very useful tool for my playing.
