Kopprasch actually could be pretty good, I can think of two that if arranged
would actually be pretty fun for both player and audience if arranged, number
59 and another one I forgot the number of both are pretty good on their own. I
am actually working on arranging number 59 for solo horn and band, and adding
more variations so it can be like Carnival of Venice, only horn exclusive.
And also, nothing really would be slighting the piano. She's a virtuoso player
and teacher.
As for writing specifically for horn, that is the general idea, but I'm keeping
in mind what it would sound like on others, just to add some elements from
other instruments and styles. This is because straight horn music drives me
nuts most of the time. Other than that, I will look at it from a different
angle and make it something I would like to hear myself, I was going too far
along the path of making it what the audience would like rather than myself.
As for Miss White, I may take you up on that offer in the near future.

This is a video of something like I had in mind for the fast ending. Would
something like this be fitting for the occasion? Just the style of it?
BTW I thank you all for the thoughts you've given so far. They've been quite
helpful.
