My friend has an old King that he'd like to fix up & use as a back up
horn. Even though it's missing some pretty important parts & needs
repair, it's playable & he loves the sound. Below my signature line
is the best discription he could give. If anyone has one or more of
the missing parts, contact me off list. Also if anyone has advice to
share regarding this horn, I'm sure he'd appreciate that, as well.

The old King---
I cant seem to find a model or serial number. It is an HN White horn.
 I found 110 on
the main tuning slide. The instrument comes in an old wood case with
fabric cover.
The missing or poorly replaced pieces are:

1) Thumb rotor back bearing plate. All rotory valves have a plate
pressed into the back which the rotor axel sits in. This assures the
rotor is not rubbing the sides of the casing.
2) Thumb rotor cap (the replacement does not have the correct thread count)
3) 2nd value rotor cap (not quite the right thread count)
If I had the back bearing plate, this horn might be worth some fix up.
The last person to touch it however must have been a plumber as it
looks awful and the fixed joint solders are all cracked besides.
