I respect the 'in depth' discussion concerning natural disasters (specifically
Earthquakes and Hurricanes), however, does the group believe it is too much to
ask if we can get back on track discussing what the group does best - horn
related issues. Lets not lose track that people have once again, lost life,
homes and possessions. It is possible that some of our members may be
experiencing the trauma of such events directly/indirectly.Yes, by all means
keep these people in our thoughts, but this forum is not the place to
'continue'
the clinical analysis of the events that have and are still happening. Members
can always contact each other off list if they wish to continue their
discussions. What Lawrence said was pertinent (re BBC Phil in Japan). These are
our people; musicians. However, this was stated and was not pursued. This is
the
correct way to bring music related information to the table in such difficult
circumstances. Lets not lose track of the possibility of members dealing as
best
they can with these same events, and who's lives will be changed forever. I
apologise for my rather sert if not direct approach. Sometimes it is needed to
get back on track regarding discussion.

Regards to all,

Brian.
