I had the bell cut off by a qualified technician with a view to having a coupling added. It was cut exactly at the right place where the diametre was correct for a standard coupling. But then it proved to be too expensive, more than the initial price I paid for the horn in the first place and I was advised against proceeding. So I bought a new Paxman for general use and use the cut horn for travel practice. For example it will fit into a flight bag easily.
