I may have missed it, but I haven't seen all the ways of getting around in San Francisco. From a local relative of mine:
To get from the airport, take the Bart into downtown SF and take the muni to SF State. Here are some websites for SF that might be of assisance to you. SF MUNI- municipal transit -- all buses, cable cars, light rail in SF http://www.sfmta.com/cms/mhome/home50.htm the M-Oceanview metro rail line is the subway/light rail line that goes from downtown (where its underground) to SF State. BART - Bay Area Rapid Transit http://www.bart.gov/ this will get you all over the Bay Area & definitely from SF Airport to numerous points along the line into downtown SF & points east & south. One of our favorite breakfast/brunch spots is fairly close to SF State, on the west side of town. Its called Squat & Gobble & is at the West Portal muni station. The West Portal area is nice little neighborhood & besides Squat & Gobble there is a pretty good mexican place in the block off the station. Here are a couple of the museums websites http://www.asianart.org/hoursandadmission.htm this is downtown in the Civic Center area http://www.famsf.org/ - the De Young is in Golden Gate Park & the Legion of Honor is Lincoln Park (out near the Golden Gate Bridge) http://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/ Herb Foster _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
