Or the subset, where's the downbeat.  The arms move in tempo but the
direction of each movement is at best a random event, multiple measures
without a discernable down beat at the start of the measure.  This is not a
problem, unless you are doing something like "Church Windows" by Respighi.


Which we did a few years ago, the woodwinds raised particular concern and
specifically asked to be cued.  The conductor agreed and thus marked his
score.  During the performance at the spot in question, the conductor cued
the woodwinds, they looked shocked which through the conductor off and it
went downhill from there.  Ah, but we did finish together, that does count
for a lot.
