I have a second bell for my horn and would like to carry it with my horn. I
know
MB makes a case for two bells but that isn't an option right now. Does anyone
know any cases for just a bell, or has anyone made anything that works?

Thanks

The subject for the master class has been changed. The new subject is "The
Music
of Paul Basler".
The instructor will remain Michelle Stebleton.

After closure today, I ran into my beloved former horn instructor.
She was surprized to see me.  What?  She had heard I was coming
because she on my BE mailing list, but when she saw the list of
exhibitors, she said my name was not on it.

Ooops! Something went wrong.

Anyway, I want all who are here in SF to know that I AM HERE!  I've
had the pleasure of seeing a few of you, but I hope to meet all of you
before the end of the week.  Please stop by, I'm in room 116 in the
rear left corner of the building in the same room with Haughton Horns
& Patterson HOrns.

Put a sheet of soft styrofoam between the two bells stuck One Inside the other,
should fit into the Bell compartment of the MB Case. Dry it.

This is mostly aimed at anyone at the IHS convention right now.  I have
Emailed several friends about this but have not heard from them.  Could
someone check out the compensating Wagner Tubas from China and let me know
if the trigger is set up in F/Bb or Bb/F?  They sent me one in Bb/F and I
would like to know if that is the standard.

Regards,
Leonard

Even a thin chamois or micro-fiber towel in between the two bells will work
just fine. I use this method on a fairly habitual basis and have never had
any problems.

Best wishes,

Paul

I'm not at the IHS, but I did pick up one of the Chinese tuben on eBay a
couple of years ago - engraved Jinbao.  Mine arrived sitting in Bb as
well.  It's not quite "field adjustable", but it just took a small piece
of scrap brass and a few minutes to reverse the trigger.
