The standard Schmid triple weighs about the same as a normal double - 2600 
grams.  It's a good horn, but there are a lot of other good horns out there too.

  While I've never played a Schmid for more than a few minutes, and it was a 
double, how would you say a triple standard Schmid weighs, compared to your 
average double horn? I'm really hoping to get one at some time; it's my dream 
horn.
