The standard Schmid triple weighs about the same as a normal double - 2600 grams. It's a good horn, but there are a lot of other good horns out there too.
Dan While I've never played a Schmid for more than a few minutes, and it was a double, how would you say a triple standard Schmid weighs, compared to your average double horn? I'm really hoping to get one at some time; it's my dream horn. -William On Jun 29, 2011, at 4:45 PM, Daniel B. Does anyone have experience with these or can tell me if they have any particular problems? I like my standard Schmid F/Bb/f triple very much, and this one is about 15% lighter. Apparently there was one at San Francisco, but I unfortunately was unable to attend. > > Dan > _______________________________________________ > post: [email protected] > unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/wdbard%40me.com ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
