I can endorse also Torisu Chromatic Tuner for Android, although I haven't compared it with others. Add-supported version is free -- no-ad version is I think $1. Of course, apps like these on any kind of smart phone can run down the battery, and a smart phone with a dead battery is no longer a phone. So keep in mind that perfectly adequate stand-alone tuners (e.g. Korg) start in the low $20 range, a little more if you want a combination with metronome, and the battery life of these units is both less complicated and superior. Years ago I screwed a couple screw eyes into my hard case to create an appropriate and secure holder for my Korg. _______________________________________________ post: [email protected] unsubscribe or set options at https://pegasus.memphis.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
