I'm doing an audition in two weeks and I was wondering if it was generally frowned upon or accepted to take two horns to an audition.
Hypothetically, let's say you have an audition with some high stuff on it, and you have a great double, and a great descant. Would an audition committee or conductor frown on using two horns, or would they be okay with it? Would it really be bad if you played most of the normal excerpts on a double, yet played Bach or Haydn on the descant?
