Awesome! The only reason I switched from trumpet to horn in 7th grade
(speaking of lo these many years ago) was because my band director
demonstrated playing a scale with no valves (and he's a trumpeter) on the
horn. To this day I find valves only marginally necessary and usually full
of water). Thanks Mr. Cornelson!
