It was nice of you to reply.  Mr. Cook's performance was remarkable.  So,
too, the whole ensemble.

I think it unfortunate that the musicians are generally omitted from a
recording's description; all artists deserve recognition, even if in really
tiny print.  In this particular case, the booklet's discussion of Symphony
51 specifically refers to the hornist's virtuosity but doesn't provide a
name.  Some of the recent Mahler recording's I've purchased do provide the
roster of musicians, and I welcome that.
