I would like some recommendations for horn quartets (plus or minus a person). I am looking for some books that will give four or five players about 2 hours of music to read. I am NOT looking for performance material. We just want to get together and play. All players are around college level or above players, although some may be a bit rusty. I would like to find some books with a variety of material, if possible, or some good individual pieces that would be hang together pretty easily, but they still can stretch us a bit technically. Also, I'm not sure if we have anyone that is strong in bass clef, so something that stays in bass clef all the time may not fit us well. We've not played together, so I will be looking for material with more specific requirements after we've gotten together one.
