Hehehe very true. One thing that being a former Physics major was that I can 
easily convert Celcius to Farenheit and Kelvin without much difficulty.

-38C though, that's very cold. Thats about -37F. Interesting. I'm not sure 
what the coldest temperature ever recorded in Europe was but the coldest 
temperature ever recorded in the Northern Hemisphere was -90F or about -68C. 
This was of course recorded in Siberia, Russia. In North America I believe it 
was about -62C or around -80F.

The coldest temperature ever recorded in the world was -127F or -88C. This 
was in Vostok, Antarctica. And no that was the actual temperature, not the 
Wind Chill. 

And yes, -40C is -40F. That is the one point where both values in the scale 
are equal.
