Out of pointless curiosity - are there any pianos strung backwards for any
physiological or other reason?

> Believe it or not, yes. There was an article in Pianist magazine a while
back. A left-handed pianist had a piano build with the short strings to the
left and the long strings to the right. It was a perfect mirror image of a
standard piano. He built it because with all those melodies in the right
hand, piano music favors right-handed players. He wanted to level the
playing field (so to speak). It's a fascinating article, with a photo of the
piano.

I'll see if I can find it.
