Hi. I just enjoyed a video recording of Bach's Christmas Oratorio (1993 Teldec) performed by the Munich Bach Soloists etc. The performance was great - the recording frustrating as the hornists were always filmed from the "wrong" side making it difficult to work out what type of horn they were using. Double?.... Triple.... Alexander?.... It'd also be interesting to know who the hornists were. As this list usually provides answers to impossibly obscure questions I feel certain that someone (Hans P?) will be able to satisfy my idle curiosity without going to too much trouble.
