All this use of acronyms is dangerous. I used to work for Bury Instrumental Teaching Service. The corresponding service in Tameside had to change its name. But the best one ever was the trombone quartet from one of our most prestigious universities - the Cambridge University New Trombone Section. I don't know how many gigs they got.
