Error again, it was not a small number who applied for the vacant job. Only 25 were selected out of 75 - 100, but just 19 presented themselves to the jury. According to the credential they had sent in, we expected an audition with high level of playing, but we all were very disappointed about the result. ==========================================================

Your reply was very helpful for young musicians, you told us exactly what to do right during an audition. A hard answer to get! Thanks! I had assumed that the candidates were more qualified than you let on to be in your first posting. Obviously they were not, and your observation was correct. I figured that due to the small number of people that applied they would be of the highest quality, and you would only audition the Best. I appologize. Best wishes, Hoss _______________________________________________ post: [EMAIL PROTECTED] set your options at http://music.memphis.edu/mailman/options/horn/hans.pizka%40t-online.de _______________________________________________ post: [EMAIL PROTECTED] set your options at http://music.memphis.edu/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org
