I suggest you talk with the music director at your school and find out if your county or state has instrumental competitions, evaluations, youth orchestra, etc., and become involved with them. You need to seek out opportunities to perform music that is difficult for you - not 'impossible stuff', but music that will force you grow rapidly as a musician.
