I need advice on finding, if possible a used Yamaha 667VSL with detachable bell (I think it is) or the H-292 Holton "Merkermatic," also with screwbell.
Have checked with the usual suspects (Horn Works, Osmun, etc.) with some success, but seek other sources as well -- preferably not thousands of miles away. (I live in central Illinois)
I realize the 292 may be too new to find a used horn.
Finally, what's a reasonable price for these great instruments?
