I have one of those horns, and find that it has very small key travel (I did, however, go from a king to the Yamaha...). Just crank the strings a little tighter (i don't know exactly what to do; I just figure it out as I go along ;) .) and you should have no problems. The horn can have extremely long travel if the strings are set incorrectly. It's a nice horn, though, that plays really well once you get used to it.
