Anyone familiar enough with Holton horns to compare a 288 with a 179? My son and I have our eyes on a 288 that's "B" stock at our local music store - it's a beautiful sounding instrument and to both of us sounds better than the 8D they also have for sale. But we see a lot of 179's out there for much less money and would like to know if we're getting a similar horn if we buy a 179.
