The way you're making fun of poor ole' Holton's you'd think it was one of those reclaimed 5 inch Chinese Artillery Shell casings they pass of as Horns....

As a guy that played used to play on Holtons and thought they weren't bad, I am getting tired of all of the guys on this list that bash em...We should be bashing those shell casing/boat anchors/door stops/very large Christmas Tree ornaments that are infecting the world of horn playing.

I thought Wilbert was correct in his assessment of what that 378 is...a good community band/ high or middle school horn. At least the one I've seen come into my studio could play in tune, that is more than I can say for some of the other stuff (read junk) that has big name manufactures logo's on them...
