Dick Mackey retiring this year is interesting news. I had a lot of
friends
who studied with him at NEC, and they all loved working with him.

need arrangements of familiar tunes with piano/organ accompaniment for

They are intermediate-level arrangements with no notes higher than "g"
at the top of the staff, but interesting, with the soloist sometimes
playing figurations, countermelodies, etc. and the accompaniment not
always just block chords.
