What BS....couple of emails and you've got her all figured out - maybe you should join the psychic network or some such. We've all seen our share of 'disrespectful, socially unacceptable rhetoric', right on this horn list - would it be your opinion that all the perpetrators should seek professional help?

Personally, I've several times encountered people spouting such disrespectful, socially unacceptable rhetoric. Almost invariably it's under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If they feel it necessary to make public the hatred and anger they harbor, with or without drugs or alcohol, you are absolutely right to suggest seeking professional help.

Unfortunately, one doesn't often recognize this behavior in oneself and we all rely on close friends to suggest help. I hope Mara heeds this wake up call and sees you for the caring friend you are.
