A competent repair person may need to look at your problem. The Yamaha valves are tapered and difficult to seat properly except by someone with expertise with these valves. They may have worn or have been cleaned and not seated properly causing them to be noisy. I would also recommend not using Al Cass; use Blue Juice or Hetman #11 or 12 Rotor oil instead. Al Cass tends to make rotors sticky which could be another source of frustration (and possibly noise).

It may even be that the oil is not the actual problem. Is it possible that the weather is causing this? We have extreme humidity at the moment and the horn is in and out of airconditioning all the time (although cooler the air still seems to stay very clammy).
