I just talked with the Kelly guy (may have been Jim Kelly himself, not sure)
today. He told me they will make copies of standard type mouthpieces if they
don't have the model in stock. The lexan mouthpiece is molded into a blank,
machined, and then highly polished. They already have copies of several
popular mouthpieces, such as the Holton Farkas MC. The contact info is:

They're in Fon du Lac, WI.

Subject: [Hornlist] Metal Allergy

An inexpensive source of lexan mouthpieces is "Kelly Mouthpieces" -
http://www.kellymouthpieces.com/

I haven't tried their horn mpc, but I have a Kelly T-bone mpce and like it.

BTW - if you get into a detailed discussion about 'allergies' don't be
surprised to hear that the reaction you are having is not an allergy.
Medical technical terminology says that an allergy is caused by a reaction
to a protein - such as in pollen, etc. Sensitivity and reactions to metals
is widely reccognized, just not as a true allergy.
