Hornfolks:
   I have been in a dispute with the sound engineers of a weekly gig I play;
particularly the fact that all of the brass have contact mics except for me (I
am
the only horn).
   The sound engineers insist that if I were to have a contact mic that my sound
would 'blow their board'. Having to watch out for the bell banging into the mic
is worse than 'blowing their board' (okay-OverBalancing) as far as I am
concerned.

any thoughts?

thx.
