hans Yes you and others are well equipped to handle this type of problem,but for others they don't even want to be tempted. Like Steve said, the delete button works wonders. You can very well see who the message if from, if you don't like it then don't read it. If you only want to read messages that are worth anything- written by Hans, then feel free to block everyone else.
