Dennis Brain was the Philharmonia’s Principal Horn from 1954 until
his tragic death in 1957. This concert is a celebration of the French
Horn and its magnificent repertoire.
Programme to include:
STRAUSS Don Juan
WAGNER Siegfried’s Rhine Journey from Götterdämmerung
STRAUSS Capriccio Suite
And a short new work by the Philharmonia’s No. 3 Horn TIMOTHY JACKSON
