I don't know how reliable this information is, but I do know that Giardinelli was bought out by Musician's Friend (ARGHH) - the company which also owns Guitar Center and what used to be Mars Music. Since that happened, I've had the hardest time finding any 2 piece Giardinelli's and only a few of their older C-series models. Quite frustrating.
